A Letter for Annabel is a dark comedy that explores Ruben Greene's reaction to a wedding invitation from Annabel. He met her when she was a child, briefly, twenty years before. Should he go, or not go, to her wedding? Ruben responds by telling the story of his nervous breakdown and recovery. In doing so, he sees who and what influenced his life, and he notices a few of the mistakes he made when he was younger.
